POTENTIAL BOURNEMOUTH LINEUP TO FACE MANCHESTER UNITED THIS WEEKEND

Eddie Howe's Bournemouth were one of the surprise packages last season, retaining their Premier League status after being given no hope of survival by many. They face a tough task in their opening fixture of 2016/17 as they welcome Jose Mourinho's Manchester United to the Vitality Stadium.

Here's how they could line up:
GOALKEEPER

Boruc
Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc should resume his role between the sticks for Eddie Howe's side for their opening game of the season.

DEFENCE

Smith
Cook
Francis
Daniels
The same defence that played for much of last season should resume their roles. Simon Francis will continue alongside Steve Cook in the centre of defence, with Adam Smith out on the right.

Tyrone Mings is still ruled out with injury so Charlie Daniels will fill in at left-back. Nathan Ake could make an appearance from the bench after joining on loan from Chelsea.

MIDFIELD

Ibe
Arter
Surman
Gradel
Harry Arter and Andrew Surman were mainstays in the heart of midfield last season and this is unlikely to change after the duo helped propel the club to safety last season.

Max Gradel finished the season strongly and should feature out on the left, with new signing Jordan Ibe making his debut out on the right after the departure of Matt Ritchie to Newcastle.

FORWARDS

Afobe
Wilson
Howe likes to play with two up front and he will be happy to have his two most potent strikers fit for the opening day of the season.

Calum Wilson will be itching to get amongst the goals in the Premier League again, as will Benik Afobe. The duo have the potential to be a real offensive force this campaign.

Nigerians Lose Job As Ecobank Shuts Down 74 Branches

Ecobank Nigeria has shut down about 74 of its 479 branches. The bank says it will deploy staff from the merged branches to other projects but failed to touch on reports that the bank had terminated the appointment of about 50 top personnel staff.  A statement by the bank reaffirmed its commitment to digital transformation, which would enable customers carry out banking activities online, thereby reducing the need to visit physical locations. Charles Kie, the managing director, said the bank hopes to shift its activities to digital channels and improve customers’ experience at reduced cost. This, he said, also supports the bank’s financial inclusion strategy and the cashless policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria.   Kie said the bank has enhanced its retail internet banking platform with the Ecobank mobile app that enables customers to do instant payments; open accounts, as well as do instant transfers across 33 countries in Africa. “After a detailed analysis of the physical network of b
