DO IT TODAY

Hi!   I hope you're having a good weekend.   Today I'd like to quickly share one thing that used to hold me back a lot in life.   You see, when I was younger I rarely took action on anything that I wanted to change in my life. My go-to excuse was often that the timing was not right and that I needed to wait for some time a little later on or for things to be perfect before I took action.   Now, the timing might not be right for all things that you or I would like to do.   But for many things there is usually a way forward.   So today, just take 1 minute and ask yourself:   What have I been postponing or procrastinating on for some time now?    Maybe you want to start your own small business online or offline. Or you want to dive back into dating again or get back into better shape. Or maybe work on  your relationship with yourself .   Maybe you have a troubling situation in your life that you want to solve and you deep down know how to do th

Tottenham 2-1 Manchester United: Harry Kane scores in final White Hart Lane match

Tottenham ended their final Premier League season at the old White Hart Lane unbeaten after a 2-1 victory over Manchester United on  Super Sunday . Having called the famous stadium home for 118 years, they produced a strong performance to bid farewell in style. Victor Wanyama's powerful header opened the scoring (6) and Harry Kane scored his first top-flight goal against United two minutes after the break. Wayne Rooney threatened to spoil the party when he halved the deficit (71) but Tottenham held on in the pouring rain. The win means Spurs leave White Hart Lane without defeat this season ahead of a move to Wembley, with their new home set to be ready for the 2018/19 campaign. Jose Mourinho's side can no longer make the top four and must now beat Ajax in their Europa League final on May 24 to reach next season's Champions League.

Nigerian Government Appoints Man of Questionable Character as Board Chair of Sovereign Wealth Fund

In December 2009, Mr. Jide Zeitlin withdrew his nomination as President Barack Obama’s nominee for financial reform at the United Nations.  His retreat was announced a few weeks after the allegation of his dishonest business dealing was exposed by a New Delhi Court in India.  Eight years after the scandal, Mr. Zeitlin has worked his way back to Nigeria to corner a juicier deal as the Chairman of the Board of Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA).    The acting President Yemi Osinbajo inaugurated the board yesterday at the State House Abuja and announced the appointment of Mr. Zeitlin.  According to a report published in Washington Post in December 31, 2009, Mr. Zeitlin, a former Goldman Sachs executive and telecom entrepreneur, had been accused of insincere business dealings with Indian contractors who said they have not been paid for building wireless towers throughout India in spite of the agreement.  His company, Independent Mobile Infrastructure Limited has been

West Ham 0-4 Liverpool: Reds maintain edge in race for Champions League spot

Liverpool's Champions League fate remains in their own hands after they beat West Ham 4-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday. The result means Liverpool will guarantee a top-four finish with victory at home to Middlesbrough on the final day next Sunday. And with Manchester City also in pole position to finish among the Champions League places, Arsenal must now rely on slip-ups from the other two as we enter the last week of the 2016/17 season. Klopp opted to hand Sturridge only his sixth league start of the season at West Ham, while Adam Lallana also returned to Liverpool's starting XI. West Ham, meanwhile, were looking to replicate the performance against Tottenham which saw them guarantee safety and all-but end the title race. And it was the hosts who enjoyed a bright start in their final home game of the season, with Sam Byram guilty of a missed opportunity early on after dragging his effort wide of the far post. An end-to-end half then saw Joel Matip rise high
