AMERICAN COMPETITON SWIMMER,Michael Phelps ANNOUNCES HIS RETIREMENT












Michael Fred Phelps II is an American competition swimmer and the most decorated Olympian of all time, with a total of 27 medals.

Just before the his last race in the Rio Olympic games Saturday, Michael Phelps went live on Facebook and announced that this will be his last race.



Phelps, 31, a multiple gold medalist announced to his fans that he will not compete in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics stating,

“Tonight’s the last time I’ll be suiting up and racing on this level,” Phelps said. “It’s a lot to think about. 24 years in the sport and we’re finishing up tonight.”
