Three Male Suicide Bombers Killed, Three injured In Foiled Attack on University Of Maiduguri Female Hostel

Three bombers male suicide bombers are dead and three security men injured when suspected Boko Haram suicide bombers attacked University of Maiduguri yesterday, an official has told Saharareporters.
In an electronic message issued by Borno police public relation officer, DSP Victor Isuku to newsmen in Maiduguri on Friday confirmed that three university security guards were injured in a bid to stop the suicide bombers.
"At about 2350hrs, three male suicide bombers with IEDs strapped to their bodies, gained entry into the premises of university of Maiduguri. In an attempt to enter the female hostels, they were intercepted by security operatives. 
The statement added that one of the bombers hurriedly detonated his IED vest, killing himself instantly. The other two bombers detonated theirs near a construction site also within the proximity of the University premises, killing themselves alone.
"Three university security personnel reported injured. Scene visited by EOD personnel and normalcy restored."
The deafening sounds of bombs about 22.50pm Thursday night caused panic within the university as security guards tried to calm the female students. The bombers targeted the BOT Female hostel and another one exploded an IED near the School of Veterinary Medicine.
"It was so loud and we were confused in our hostel. Its surprised us because It is becoming frequent even when Maiduguri was under siege we did not experience this. President should help us erect fence round the school in other to prevent further attacks " Aishat Mohammed an undergraduate student told Saharereporters.
