Death toll hits 900 as Hurricane ravages Haiti

– The Hurricane that hit Haiti, one of the poorest nations on earth, has left the citizens groaning and in need
– The death toll in the disaster has increased and there are fears that the figure would continue to grow because of those in the rural areas
The Hurricane Matthew attack on Haiti has resulted in the death of close to 900 people the poor country, Daily Mail is reporting as photographs and videos of the devastation flood the internet.
The report said the casualty figure is expected to grow if figures from the remote parts of the country are received.

More than 300,000 have so far been rendered homeless while thousands are said to be at local clinics with various ailments.
The citizens of the country are reportedly in dare need of food and other relief materials.

   According to the report, the hurricane has caused the biggest humanitarian crisis in the country since the earthquake of 2010.
It was learnt that most of the dead could have been killed by falling debris from the heavy winds.
The government says it has reports of destroyed houses and overflowing hospitals as well as water problem.

Comedian Basketmouth robbed in his Lekki home

Basketmouth Famous Nigerian stand-up comedian, Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth and his family were in the early hours of this morning robbed at their Lekki home at gunpoint.
