POTENTIAL WESTHAM LINEUP TO PLAY CHELSEA

West Ham open up their campaign on Monday night with a lot to prove after falling away at the end of last season, but Slaven Bilic's men have been handed a pretty tough start away to Chelsea.

This is the team who are likely to kick off the campaign.

Barring a lightning strike or similar spot of bizarre misfortune, Adrian is the man. End of.

Defence

Michail Antonio looks set to be entrenched as the least right-back-y right-back in modern memory, leaving Winston Reid with possibly a little extra work to do on the right-hand side of the defence.

Angelo Ogbonna will likely be the man alongside Reid, while summer signing Arthur Masuaku likely to plug the gap left by Aaron Cresswell's pre-season injury.

Midfield

  • Kouyaté

One of two absolute steals by the Hammers in the summer transfer window, Håvard Nordtveit is likely to make his Premier League debut for the club at the first possible opportunity.

Alongside him, Cheikhou Kouyaté and England nearly-man Mark Noble should sit in behind a dynamic and diverse front trio.

Forwards

  • Ayew

Speaking of club debuts...Sofiane Feghouli and Andre Ayew are odds-on to kick off their Hammers careers at the Bridge.

With Manuel Lanzini and Diafra Sakho both out injured - and Dimitri Payet still recovering from Euro 2016 - selection for their pair either side of Andy Carroll is likely to be more or less a formality. Later in the season, things will get less clear.

Nigerians Lose Job As Ecobank Shuts Down 74 Branches

Ecobank Nigeria has shut down about 74 of its 479 branches. The bank says it will deploy staff from the merged branches to other projects but failed to touch on reports that the bank had terminated the appointment of about 50 top personnel staff.  A statement by the bank reaffirmed its commitment to digital transformation, which would enable customers carry out banking activities online, thereby reducing the need to visit physical locations. Charles Kie, the managing director, said the bank hopes to shift its activities to digital channels and improve customers’ experience at reduced cost. This, he said, also supports the bank’s financial inclusion strategy and the cashless policy of the Central Bank of Nigeria.   Kie said the bank has enhanced its retail internet banking platform with the Ecobank mobile app that enables customers to do instant payments; open accounts, as well as do instant transfers across 33 countries in Africa. “After a detailed analysis of the physical network of b
